Step 1. The Base: Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (GFF)

GFF is the foundational base of our Cocktail Essence, Derived from sake rice fermentation, it hydrates, fortifies the barrier, and delivers potent antioxidant activity in one step. The fermentation process breaks nutrients into smaller, highly bioavailable molecules, enhancing absorption and maximizing skin penetration.

Step 2. Support Actives

We add Support Actives to the Base to help strengthen and balance your skin - calming overactive areas and adding energy where it's needed. Our goal is to help your skin find homeostasis - its own balanced, optimal state. Whether your skin tends to be too oily, too dry, too reactive, or a mix of all three, the Support Actives we choose for you will work together to gently guide your skin back into balance.

Step 3. Targeted Actives

Now that your skin is balanced and supported, we focus on what matters most to you - your unique skin concerns. Whether it’s dullness, fine lines, dark spots, or sensitivity, this is where we get specific.

Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (GFF). Born from the fermentation of sake rice, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate is a refined yeast-derived bioactive long revered in Japanese brewing traditions. Clinically shown to significantly improve skin brightness, hydration, and barrier function, studies demonstrate visible reductions in pore size, increased elasticity, and meaningful improvement in uneven tone and hyperpigmentation with daily use. By supporting surface renewal, it helps create the translucent “glass skin” clarity associated with exceptionally healthy skin. Rich in antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins, and peptides, Galactomyces comprehensively supports skin homeostasis and contributes to smoother texture, greater luminosity, and overall refinement.

Our Commitment to Quality & Freshness

Care & Preservation: Our exquisite ferments are stored under refrigeration to maintain their integrity and potency. We use natural preservation methods, primarily combinations of Leuconostoc/Radish Root and Leucidal Liquid at 2%. For Galactomyces, which requires specific care, we utilize two types: one preserved with Hydroxyacetophenone (0.5%) and 1,2-hexanediol (0.5%), the other with Butylene Glycol to ensure its stability and effectiveness.

Conscious Sourcing: Ingredients marked with an asterisk (*) are Wildcrafted or Certified Organic (USDA or EcoCert), reflecting our dedication to the highest quality and sustainable sourcing practices. Whenever possible we source our botanicals from small independently owned farms and local farm co-operatives.
