Tachyphylaxis is a fancy word to describe your skin’s diminishing response to your skincare as tolerance builds over time. To overcome this, The Prescription borrows a strategy from fitness training called muscle confusion. This means that each product in The Prescription is formulated to stimulate skin differently. When you use all three products together it creates a cascade of novel stimuli that prevents your skin from settling into a groove and building up tolerance to your skincare.

Dispense one to two pumps into your palm and gently press onto clean skin.
If layering with your other Prescription products, blend one pump with Crystal Serum in your palm and apply as your first layer. Follow with a second pump of Cocktail Essence, pressed directly over the top.
